Global refers to any ability which does not have a finite usage radius – in other words, a global talent can be cast or used anywhere on the battlefield with far fewer restrictions than abilities are generally subject to (for example some terrain remains impassible even to global abilities, such as the enemy’s spawn point).
Heroes who have ‘global’ abilities include: ETC, Falstad, Medic, Dehaka, and Brightwing.
Heroes with global abilities are often highly valued for their ability to tip the balance of a battle by rapidly entering or exiting the fray.
